Playa Rincon Dominican Republic Postcard

Playa Rincón, situated on the remote eastern tip of the Samaná Peninsula, is frequently ranked among the most beautiful beaches in the entire world. This spectacular, undeveloped stretch of coastline features nearly three miles of pristine, multi-coloured white and golden sands surrounded by a dense backdrop of coconut groves. On one side of the bay, the ocean is calm and crystal-clear, ideal for swimming and snorkelling, while the other side features rolling waves perfect for body boarding. A freshwater river, Caño Frío, flows out of the jungle into the ocean at the edge of the beach, providing a refreshing, cool freshwater swimming spot right on the coast.
