This high voltage ball of electrical plasma makes an eerie discharge. A tech image for those interested in electricity, physics and energy in general. The plasma ball is generated by a plasma globe or lamp based on a design by the early electrical inventor Nikola Tesla described as an inert gas discharge tube.
