The aloe vera has this remarkable ability to not only survive, but thrive in the harshest of conditions… even neglected of human attention, the aloe is able to adapt, to hunker down and stay at the ready for when the next life-replenishing downpour comes. Jack, lived for 17 long years, and I swear this boy had nine lives with all he survived and endured. He lasted longer than most would have believed possible. He taught me to never give up and to never stop loving others, no matter the circumstances. We must persist and keep moving forward… the rain and the sun will return again. | I created the series, "Planty Pups," as a reminder that no matter how life tries to test us and bring us down, we will always find a way to keep going, survive, thrive, share the love, and reach for the light.
