I was surprised that the material that the dish towels were made of were spongey-polyester and that the edging was finished with a zig-zag stitch. But the stitching was neat, and perhaps the material is absorbent. In any case, my recipient was pleased. As usual, the printing was just as I designed it. I was actually surprised by the quality. The material feels like it can handle the wash and the print seems to be set deep in the fibers. BUT I have not washed it yet. The printing was accurate and looks like it can handle washing.
