Plane - Factory - The Great Liberator 1943 Label

Colorized photo from 1943 Original Title: Miscellaneous collection of photographs of aircraft production. Double assembly line Photographer: Howard R. Hollem Location: Forth Worth Texas This is the Consoildated's Fort Worth Texas factory. They built planes from 1923-1944. As you can see here they had a twin assembly line, each plane made to order, some have different colouring. Each plane is pulled along a chain, scaffolding and all. The first three planes are in the desert sand scheme, they are B-24D's known as the Liberator, but the company simply called them Model 32. These were heavy bombers. It had long range abilities, and could carry the heavy bombs. I believe they were also hard to fly, but despite that, these were the most ordered item with around 18,500 units across companies. It holds the record as the worlds most produced bomber, heavy bomber, multi-engine aircraft and American military air craft in history. The next two behind them, the green ones, are PB4Y-1 Liberators, used for sea patrol and anti-submarine missions. Behind those is another B-24D, each plane seems to have a different colour scheme, like altering the tail colour. On the right are a couple of C-87 Liberator Express transports (adapted for cargo).

I make my own greeting cards so send a fair bit of mail. When I ran out of the return address labels I had been using (designed and printed at Staples), I turned to Zazzle to see if I could come up with a design that better reflected me. I was not disappointed! I was able to design custom return address labels using my own photos. On top of that, I was also able to find a good quality product at a reasonable price point. My labels came fairly quickly and I have had numerous compliments. I think Zazzle has likely seen some extra business from friends and family who have seen my labels and asked where I got them made. I was very pleased with the printing! Everything is easy to read, even the tiniest font. The photos came out very clear.

Beautiful labels. Nice clean modern style. The green goes perfect with the burgundy color of my envelopes and cards this year. Very very pleased! Clean and very clear. Stands out nicely.
