Ballerinas -- When I was a tiny little girl, my mother let me try out for the Canadian National Ballet. What I most clearly remember is how excited I was to be all dressed up in my little white tutu (with red roses embroidered on it, no less!), and having my cheeks rouged, getting ready. There is something truly special for little girls about the formal process of dressing-up into your "real" ballerina costume. To me, children's ballet is beautiful, structured and marvelously innocent. I have painted and sketched ballerinas all my life - this series is all about capturing the anticipation and joy of little girls during their first recital.

The product itself is excellent. And the size was good once I placed the picture in the correct area. The only draw back is that the poster is shipped flat and very hard to unroll therefore be prepared to have roll marks on it when you finally do get it unrolled to lay flat. Printing is crisp and clear and the ink is wonderful. Again only problem was in the unrolling of the poster.
