This pretty floral wedding save the date flat card template features your names accented by Japanese cherry blossoms. The names and the SAVE THE DATE text are in a very soft red and the other details are an elegant tone that has elements of grey and orange. We have set the background as transparent, so that the paper you choose will serve as the base. With the abundance of empty space that the design affords(such empty space in a design is called 'ma' in Japanese) and this transparent base, the texture of the paper has a chance to shine as well, and for that reason we chose a richly textured paper called 'laid' as the default selection. Please have a look with the zoom to get an idea of what such a paper can add to designs like this. Of course you can change the paper type and you can also change the background from transparent to a colour if you prefer. You can also edit the style, colour and size of the text to suit your taste. We've chosen a lively, modern script for the names in our example, but there's a wide selection of other fonts to choose from. The back of the card is devoted to your favourite photo. Our sample photo appears as black and white, but we started with a colour photo and activated the black and white filter to get this effect. In addition, we added a 30% grey colour filter in order to soften the contrast between black and white. Try this with your own colour photo, and if you prefer to keep the colour, you can deactivate the filter. In any case, just please remember to edit the back of this card and remove our sample photo! We have also chosen rounded corners with the same softening look in mind, but you can change this to sharp corners if you'd like.
