Pink Flowering Dogwood Postcard

I believe this is a dogwood tree but am not absolutely positive. It is situated in the Boston Public Garden. There are numerous such trees there but this was the prettiest one this season, and the largest. There were so many tourists having their pictures taken beneath the tree that I decided to photograh the upper part only. The Public Garden is the place to go for colour in the Spring!
