Pimpernel Pattern (by William Morris) Stone Coaster

This design features a print of a wallpaper design created by the British artist William Morris (1834–1896), who is associated with the Arts and Crafts Movement. It is a floral pattern with winding green leaves intertwining around chrysanthemum, jasmine and pimpernel flowers. There are willow branches between the flowers too. The original pattern was designed by William Morris in 1876, and he took his influence from flowers that grow naturally in East Asia.

I made them as a gift but got a few doubly made for me! Really well done. I wanted the images dark with low contrast and saturated colours and they came out exactly as I hoped!
