This Northern Renaissance genre masterpiece titled, Children's Games is made by the famous painter, Pieter Bruegel the Elder using oil on panel in 1560. During the late 1550s in Antwerp, Bruegel designed engravings for the leading publisher of the city, Hieronymous, at the House of the Four Winds. He achieved the greatest success with a series of allegories: The Seven Deadly Sins and The Virtues.
