This is a photo print from a beautiful vintage Turkish or Persian rug in its original colours. The pattern woven into the original antique carpet is in the traditional warm colours used for these handmade rugs, with reds and scarlets dominating, and gold and duck-egg blue supporting. The reverse side repeats the Kilim design. The original vintage carpet from which this photo-print has been taken is showing some signs of wear and these are reproduced in the print to retain its character.
