I am calling this shirt the philosophy of Death, as it looks as if they are all having quite a debate. the vintage momento mori style art used here is actually Anatomia per uso et intelligenza del disegno ricercata and is a copperplate engraving from 1691 done by Bernardino Genga and Charles Errard. depicted is a giant sack filled with the deceased with several versions of death/the grim reaper standing around holding it and in postures indicating their skeletal selves are looking and possibly talking to one another.
