Pharmacies went by many names over the years, starting as a simple leach to the arm, then they advanced to blood letting with crazy bladed systems. Many of them mixed their own medicines using plant materials. Later one chemicals were used, and that's where we are here. A compound pharmacy is where they mix your order using a variety of ingredient from different jars and drawers. It's sort of like going to the candy store where you can pick your own bag of stuff. Only if you did that here, you may die. While this seems old fashioned, there are still pharmacies like this one, but mostly for homeopathic medicines.
