Congress, Arizona archived front page 12/2/12 9:23am (HAPPY ANNIVERSARY JOY AND JOHN AND NICK...BEEN 7 YEARS IN CONGRESS TODAY) 11/24/12 11:33pm: sorry about the phone dying Ronda...link for you- ht t p : / / www .zazzle. com/ rock_ face _ pos t_card-239038545535002420 11/23/12 10:33pm: oh "J". you go to this link. h t t p : / / www .zazzle .com / hike _ first _ work _ later _ t _ shirt- 235993925401557775 go to page 273 than hit not the the one with line with the arrow one but the single arrow one to get to the next back page 272 and so on...it is on page 267 I think and you "click" on photo to make it a little bigger it pops up on screen...the variety of rattlers...and you just click on arrow to keep getting to previous pages and 1/2 way through them you will see the other...I know it is a pain but that is how it works on this site...it use to be 1 comment had 5 photos but zazzle had a glitch and they vanished. Ok, so alot of you have messages of do I tan the skins with gasoline or antifreeze??? call Brian the professional taxidermist for those ?s at 928-427-6201...I just follow previous person on our hikes. snakeman Thomas Maiden's method of tube the snake or slice it down the centre and take meat off it...lay it out...salt it both sides for 24hours than rinse it off...roll up...squeeze excess water out...dry skin he said than place it in tanning solution which was 50/50 glycerine and alcohol...than soak 1 side for 12 hrs than other side 12 hrs and its ready...I hope that answers your messages. that is how I was taught and Brian's method differs so ask the professionals...but I can't be doing too bad if just this year I got $50 for doing it plus $150 another time and I am nobody in the taxidermy world...simply just a temp. bi-product to my hikes when I hike with certain folks...I prefer to always relocate them versus turning them into wall art or hatband or belt. I think rattlers are better off alive. Well, what else? I did capture a photo of a juvenille mountain lion; poor image and will share to you future photos now that I know the lion is visiting us. We have a bobcat and skunk visiting too. And cattle. good night. Have a great week. Wish Annie calls in the morning. Fingers crossed. night. Oh and my mother's pin page says it all...it is very true Mom..."God doesn’t give you the people you want, he gives you the people you need. To help you, to hurt you, to leave you, to love you & to make you the person you were meant to be." Sorry my phone cut us off on turkey day...did not even talk to pops due to phone concerns.
