pet sympathy card

hutchence was the first cat i owned. i adopted him as a tiny kitten the summer before my final year of college. in the spring, he went across the country with my mom, in what was supposed to be a temporary arrangement until i got settled on the east coast. however, she fell in love with him, too, and somehow the arrangement changed to her having primary custody, and i got to visit him once or twice a year, usually around the holidays. he had a long, happy life, and is sorely missed by all who knew him.
