A red peri-peri chili pepper, also known as piri-piri or pili-pili, is decorated with patterns inspired by the traditional sarong capulana from Mozambique and sits on a yellow background with a smaller version of the same pattern and a script label in the corner. This spicy, red pepper was originally cultivated in Mozambique after pepper plants were brought by Portuguese explorers.
