Penn Central Railroad Travel Coffee Mug

From www.railphotoexpress.biz - New York Central Railroad found itself facing bankruptcy in 1967 due to continued decline in railway use. Pennsylvania Railroad found itself in a similar position after the offices built following the demolition of Pennsylvania Station Passenger Trains were no longer bringing the company sufficient income. In 1968 New York Central Railroad merged with Pennsylvania Railroad to create the Penn Central Railroad company. The newly formed Penn Central began to look into updating the uses of the Grand Central Terminal in order to increase revenue and save the company from financial straits. The Penn Central went in to bankruptcy and became part of Conrail in 1976.

I ordered these with interiors of yellow, red, maroon, pink, navy blue, and light blue. Note that the navy blue is VERY dark and looks black in some lighting. The mugs have survived 10 months of use so far! My friends were all very happy with them. Print turned out very clear. Colours were accurate. Thank you!
