This is a pen and ink drawing of a tree that I did as part of my studies in the Botanical Arts Certificate Program at the Chicago Botanic Garden. It is a drawing of a crab apple tree in the Garden. In doing the drawing I found that the more I looked the more I saw and I felt the drawing coming alive for me.
