Peacock Fountain & Rose Garden in Winter Park FL Postcard

This Postcard features the stunning colours and architectural details of the Bronze Peacock Fountain and Rose Garden in Central Park in historic Winter Park, Florida. The fountain is a beautiful tribute to Elizabeth Buckley, a 13-year-old who died of an inoperable brain tumour on New Year's Eve in 2012. The Peacock Project was conceived by John Michael Thomas, a 15-year-old Eagle Scout and Elizabeth's friend. Elizabeth loved peacocks and the downtown rose garden, and now her spirit lives on through this amazing display. Photography by Glenda Motsavage, a Florida-based travel writer and author.
