The Port at Sunset, Opus 236 (Saint-Tropez) (Le Port au soleil couchant, Opus 236 (Saint-Tropez)), painted by Paul Signac in 1892, shows the harbour of the fishing village glowing in yellow-orange sunset light around a large blue-violet sail. Tiny touches of complementary colour make the sea and sky shimmer while preserving the scene's still evening mood. This oil on canvas is held by the Museum Barberini, Potsdam.
