Paul McGehee "Meeting at the Well" Card

A nostalgic note card by the award-winning artist Paul McGehee. "Meeting at the Well" is a typical scene from the old days, when the town well was the most popular public meeting place. This scene shows the well of one of the most historic buildings in northern Virginia, the old Fairfax Courthouse building. Built in 1799, it was the setting for the first land battle between the north and the south in the early days of the Civil War. Each note card comes with envelope.
