The first stadtholder of the Dutch Republic was William I of Orange, who joined with Dutch nationalists and led the struggle for independence from Spain. Partly out of respect for him, the first flag adopted by the Dutch was a horizontal tricolor of orange, white, and blue.

The cloth is good quality and thickness but it does crease easily, even if rolled up so a steamer is advised for event day.
I would rate higher but the cloth is actually on off-white colour and stands out significantly against our other true white.
If i were to order again I wouldnt choose a white cloth or I''d add a colour background so it doesnt look so cream-ish.
