Path to Lake Marie Greeting Card

Snowy Range, located in beautiful southeastern Wyoming, has granite peaks which rise majestically into the late summer blue sky. Often simply called The Snowies by the locals, this is a favourite scenic drive for tourists. At the bottom of the peak lies Lake Marie. The tallest peak is Medicine Bow, which rises 12,013 ft. A trail leads from Lake Marie up through pine and rocks to near the summit of the peak. This photograph was taken on the descent to the lake in late summer.
