Passenger Steamer Wauketa Postcard

The White Star Line of Detroit built this passenger and freight vessel for the Detroit to Port Huron, Michigan, run north up the St. Clair River. She was designed as a daytime excursion boat. She was built at Toledo, Ohio, in 1908. The Wauketa served on the Great Lakes for twenty-two years. Possibly a Louis Pesha photograph. Restored and enhanced by Scenes from the Past.
