Passenger Steamer Juniata - Louis Pesha Postcard
Passenger Steamer Juniata photo by famed Great Lakes photographer, Louis Pesha, on the St. Clair River. Restored and enhanced by Scenes from the Past. This ship was later coverted into an auto ferry as the Milwaukee Clipper. built by the American Ship Building Company of Cleveland, Ohio, and launched on December 22, 1904, as Juniata for the Anchor Line, a subsidiary of the Pennsylvania Railroad. She was the second of three nearly identical sister ships each designed to be a "really modern combination freight and passenger ship."
