The oldest lighthouse in The Bahamas, still guiding ships into safe harbour, and a familiar sight to anyone cruising to Nassau, the Paradise Island Light celebrates its 200th year in 2017. You'll still hear it called the Hog Island Light, after the old name of the barrier island. The beacon flashes white, unless sea conditions are dangerous for entering the harbour, when the colour changes to red.
