This design was inspired by the animations 'The Cheat', 'The Runners' and 'Hermes' Favor'. http://www.panoply.org.uk/animations.html#ao. The animations are based on a fragment of a high Archaic Attic, black figure kylix (cup) from c.550BCE. The fragment is owned by the Ure Museum of Archeology, University of Reading, UK.
