The material is a good heavy weight. The pattern is printed on one side, not woven. Good for tote bags and crafts, but definitely not for making a kilt. The tartan was printed on one side of the material and the colors were muted. Because of the dull sheen, the narrow stripes of yellow and white did not show up very well; the blue looked more teal than blue. The repeating pattern is printed at 1/3 the size of normal Scottish woven tartan material. In photo, the material on top is a piece of wool Paisley tartan; on the bottom is the Zazzle product.

I have eight senior dancers graduating from Fleet-Wood Dancentre this year, and I wanted to make them something special. Love this site, as there is such a selection that I was able to make eight unique dance totes for my dancers..... Also to be able to have my logo printed and included in the bags was the icing on the cake. Quality of the printing and the cotton was just perfect!! Cotton is so lovely to work with.
