Painting the Swamp Rabbit Train mural Postcard

I painted the Swamp Rabbit Train Mural between 2014 and 2016 on the north wall of the Whistle Stop Café, 109 S. Main Street, Travelers Rest, South Carolina. Since then, the mural’s cowcatcher has seen several renovations. Its style is trompe l’œil—“trick the eye.” One illusion is real: the cowcatcher hides a working pizza oven, which projects from the wall.
