Painting of Christ - Oil on canvas by my late grandfather, artist Louis Jackovich (1897 - 1981). Design and surrounding embroidery also by Louis Jackovich. Born in America, educated in Hungary, Louis Jackovich came back to the States after World War I where he painted murals in churches in Pennsylvania. Primarily a self-taught artist whose strengths lay in portraiture, his many commissions included paintings of Christ for many American churches in the early '70's.

From the pictures we needed to replace two tiles that had the old toothbrush and soap dish and the tile guy said two tiles would have to be removed. The tiles were PERFECT! just a slight color difference to the naked eye but they match pretty darn good. Tile guy had to shave the back because the 1957 tile was thinner but as you can see it worked out great! We are elated over the moon happy, Thank you!
