I've sketched all over the world for the last 20+ years (since 1999!), but it took a pandemic to finally ground me long enough to get me to sketch something in my own city! So, finally, introducing sketch #227 - San Francisco's beautiful Painted Ladies at Alamo Square (also called 'Postcard Row' or the 'Seven Sisters'), with the city's iconic skyline perfectly positioned in the background. Usually, when travelling, my sketches take about an hour, but since I have nothing else to do (no travelling!), and these beauties are right outside my door (relatively speaking), I took my time with this one, and finished it over 6 short trips to the park - any excuse to get out of the house for a little sun and fresh air!

I took 3 photos in different lighting. Would recommend! I liked how there was an option to choose the font and colour of the name. The words are legible and the colours are exactly as pictured.
