Plate 53 Painted Finch (Painted Bunting, Passerina ciris) from The Birds of America by John James Audubon.
This image was scanned at very high resolution directly from the original book, The Birds of America by naturalist and painter John James Audubon (published in sections between 1827 and 1838 as a series). It has then been edited, cropped, sharpened and enhanced as needed for large scale format and use. While some of the original flaws from the old print will remain, this is one of the best versions of this artworks available. All 435 hand coloured life-size watercolors in the original portfolio, reproduced from hand-engraved plates, are available. This is a great quality bag. I initially got it for groceries, but now also use it for day-to-day errands.
I normally carry a fanny pack with me when out and about (just enough to hold my phone, wallet, keys) so whenever I go for pedicure for example, I just drop my laptop in this fashionable bag.

The printing came out very well, better than I had anticipated. The natural color fabric is sturdy with strong seams and comfortable handles. This tote fits easily over my shoulder. As it is filled, the bottom flattens out--very cool! I would buy this product again. This grocery tote holds a lot of groceries! The image quality was very good. The colors were a little darker than I had expected. The darkness may have been due to printing on a natural color fabric rather than on white. The cat design is attractively centered on the tote. The spirit of the design is very lively, just as it appears on the Zazzle website.
