Painted Ba-Gua

This colourful design is my painterly interpretation of the Feng Shui Ba-Gua, or Eight Directions. Said to have developed from divinatory practices using tortoise shells, the wisdom encoded in the Ba-Gua became the foundation for all of the Chinese arts. I used a variety of real-life and digital painting techniques to create this stunning image, with a classic arrangement of the trigrams and colour choices guided by the Black Hat School of Feng Shui. Make this item truly your own by choosing your favourite background colour at Customize > Edit.
