OUTLAW BILLY the KID Poster

OUTLAW BILLY the KID Poster

Digital impressionism based upon the iconic sole tintype photograph taken of Billy the Kid at Fort Sumner, New Mexico around 1879. The tintype is considered the preeminent classic image of the old west. The tintype was auctioned in 2011 and purchased for $2.3 million dollars. It shows the outlaw dressed in a rumpled hat and layers of clothes, including a bulky sweater. Frank Coe, a fellow Regulator who rode with Billy, said : I never enjoyed better company. He was humourous and told me many amusing stories. He always found a touch of humour in everything, being naturally full of fun and jollity. Though he was serious in emergencies, his humour was often apparent even in such situations. Billy stood with us to the end, brave and reliable, one of the best soldiers we had. He never pushed in his advice or opinions, but he had a wonderful presence of mind. The tighter the place the more he showed his cool nerve and quick brain. He never seemed to care for money, except to buy cartridges with. Cartridges were scarce, and he always used about ten times as many as everyone else. He would practice shooting at anything he saw, from every conceivable angle, on and off his horse. George Coe, brother of Frank and a Regulator also said of him: Billy was a brave, resourceful and honest boy. He would have been a successful man under other circumstances. The Kid was a thousand times better and braver than any man hunting him, including Pat Garrett.

My Bible verse postcard, turned out excellent. I love it and have it already framed. It was so reasonably priced for something done so well. Thank you to Zazzle and the artist! I thought it looked exactly like what I ordered. Perfect.

Poster is printed clearly, good quality . Inclusive of many prints . The shipping was the problem. Box was flimsy and item got bent.. only suggestion would have been to put in a canister or mark fragile. Printing was exactly as shown
