The crown of Our Lady of Fátima is a precious piece of Portuguese jewellery and its beauty and symbolism inspired this lovely pattern. It was made thinking about those who are devoted to Our Lady of Fatima. Our Lady of Fatima has two crowns. This one, the golden silver crown, is used daily. The Precious or Rich Crown, in gold and precious stones, is used on days of great celebrations, namely the 13th, from May to October. In 1941, a group of women carried out a campaign to collect jewels to manufacture these crowns in thanksgiving for the fact that Portugal did not enter the Second World War. Jewels were asked for, not money. Both queen crowns, as Our Lady had been crowned Queen of Portugal in 1646 by King D. João IV.

This will be my favourite present to give so far this year, at Christmas! Bought one for mom, the other for grandma. These pillows exceeded my expectations!!! Came at a good time, high quality, nice and bright, and super plump & fluffy! Hurry up Christmas, so I can give these away! They're awesome.
