Ouagadougou Cathedral, Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso Card

I began sketching this interesting cathedral in the early afternoon, but had to leave mid-way through the sketch due to parishioners who were questioning what I was doing - still shaken by the previous year's incident in the city. I was told that I needed cathedral guardian's permission, but he was not on site. I returned later, just an hour before sunset, hoping to finish the sketch but still could not find the guardian. Just as I was about to give up, the cathedral's priest appeared and happily granted me permission to continue my sketch (as long as I emailed it to him afterwards!), apologizing for the paranoid parishioners - though I completely understood their concern. Armed with his written permission, I hurried to complete the sketch before dark, and had to finish the final details under the light of my guide's mobile phone!
