Cute Sea Otters are floating among luminous kelp as they feast on ocean treasures. This colourful sunset painting is alive with vibrant and expressive texture. I really wanted to capture the intensity of these sweet yet often fleeting moments that make life so enjoyable. With the loose impressionistic texture of the water, and the soft, almost-touchable fur on the otters, I really enjoyed losing myself in the process of creating this oil painting. Measuring 12"high by 16" wide, the original is painted with professional grade, high quality pigments with a very saturated pigment load. This ensures that the painting and it's colours really sing in person.
