This is NOAA chart 11511. It covers an area from Wassaw Island south to parts of the South Newport River, near the centre of St Catherines Island. The chart's scale is 1:40,000 at 31°45’N. Colour shading on the chart indicates various water depths and land elevations. Depth Soundings are in feet. Also included on the chart are aids and hazards to navigation. Typically mariners use nautical charts covering the Georgia coast for navigation. NOAA is phasing out this paper chart and others like it.
