This is a simple fourfold Islamic geometric pattern. In this tessellation there are no star like patterns, but the tessellation is formed by what look likes a bow tie. An example where you can find this design is in the pierced marble screens of the Itimad ud-Daula complex in Agra, India (1622 - 1628). The colours are red, green and pale yellow.
