If you've ever watched or photographed orca from shore, you know that you can't outrun them once they are travelling...but it sure is fun to try. The orca in this design come from my photos of Bigg's (Transient) orca families who are frequent visitors to Anderson Island, WA, my little island in the south Puget Sound. Ellifrit (T65A4), Jack (T137A) and Wright (T136D) are just a few of the individuals who share our waters and come by to say hello.
