Krista Orangutan cools off during a hot day in the Borneo rainforest (Kalimantan, Indonesia.) Krista's profits on sales of this wildlife postcard support conservation of red apes, an endangered species, and their disappearing natural habitat due to logging and mono crops of palm oil. The founder of Orangutan Foundation International has been working to promote awareness of these gentle great apes since she was a graduate student at UCLA in the 1970's and was chosen by Louis Leakey to do ground breaking research with primates.
