Indonesian handyman. Making repairs to a patio cover on the island of Borneo is sure to draw attention and assistance from a "man of the forest" - a gentle orangutan. The word orangutan literally mean person (orang) of the forest (hutan, shortened to -utan). Orangutans try to participate in all the activities. The artist is a volunteer with orangutan orphan rescue and rehabilitation in Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo. She donates her profits to support the Care Centre which operates solely on donations. Orangutans are gentle natured great apes. They are an endangered species.
