This is a photo of a really beautiful sunset at Oak Island, North Carolina. The sun's light is filtered by some later afternoon clouds, causing it to look like a hot ball of wax as it prepares to sink into the ocean. Brilliant pink and orange are reflected by the wet sand on the beach as the waves of the surf roll in and out. It just doesn't get much prettier than this.
