On the Way to Sioux Falls: Jigsaw Puzzle

This work depicts one day in December, 2019. The dry, golden grass peeked out from the snow by the side of the road. The trees off in the distance were obscured, as if a thin, white veil had covered them. Perhaps it was part blowing snow and part fog. We were on our way to Sioux Falls on an extremely important and unavoidable mission. Fortunately, everything worked out. But the view of the veiled trees and the golden grass stay with me.
