There are not many of the old original windmills left on Cape Cod, but this is one of the best preserved. There is a picnic table at the bottom of the little hill, right near the harbour where I painted this unusual vantage point. The hydrangeas were in full bloom, and their rich Cape Cod colours, influenced all the tones in this lovely painting. They love the weather and soil on the Cape, and hundreds of them were in bloom right at the foot of this historic windmill. This nostalgic old time scene will grace any room or decor, with a hint of old New England. All my canvas prints are limited edition prints which I limit to the first 100 customers who purchase them regardless of size.
