Original Watercolor painting. The Schnoorviertel is an area of Bremen which dates from the 15th century. It is an area of preserved fishermens’ houses from this period, and is the oldest surviving part of Bremen. The narrow streets do not permit traffic to pass through, and the houses maintain their small, rickety feel. Today there are many specialist shops in the houses, as well as cafes, restaurants and bars. There are even theatres here. This area is worth a walk through when in Bremen.
