One of the most stolen highway signs in America, highway 61 runs from Duluth's east end to the Canadian border, right along Lake Superior. Old Highway 61 is the scenic route, and was in place in the 1960's, long before the fast freeway 61 next door went in, and the inspiration for one of the most iconic rock albums ever produced.
