Fibromyalgia is a debilitating illness that causes widespread chronic pain. This chronic pain is due to changes in the central nervous system, known as centralization, that also cause hypersensitivity to many external stimuli. There is no cure. Due to this hypersensitivity, clothing must be as comfortable as possible; which means many fibromyalgia sufferers primarily wear loose, soft clothing. This design puts humour into the condition (essential for living with the illness) while simultaneously spreading awareness.
