I photographed this spectacular sunset with colourful pink and purple tones in the sky over the ocean in Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada. Motorboats and sailboats can be seen bobbing peacefully in the harbour as the sun sets on another perfect day in paradise. This landscape photograph shows the amazing beauty of coastal B.C. Pender Harbour is known as the Venice of the North because in the old days, boat access was the only way to reach this glorious but remote area.
