A large weathered driftwood timber lays partially submerged in it's soft sand surroundings in mid afternoon along the western Pacific Ocean coastline in Oregon. Original Acrylic on canvas Painting by artist Jason Girard. A magnificent piece of wood which is art in itself. This painting is special in that it had a high degree of difficulty in making the sand appear correctly around the driftwood.
